dryloking


















Not much new to tell. Spring Break is coming to a close, and we mostly read books and graded papers. We did manage to get in a visit with friends, a good meal, and springtime tromp through the woods with dogs. There was some fleeting notion of a freshly painted, water sealed basement within the week -- a notion that was dispelled on the first day. It's a harder job than it seemed and there was just too much other work to do. But we have one, nice, dry section of wall, much to our subterranean delight. More will follow ... avant le déluge, if we're lucky.

twig basket accomplished














Here it is. The living room is very nearly done, and months in advance of the two year anniversary of the onslaught on 45 Perkins St. There's just a little trimming to do at the ceiling and a few touch-ups along the windows and doors.
