the kitchen sink

One of the more recent projects has been the kitchen counter-tops. We replaced the gouged, burned, and scored, once-"fancy" looking Formica with Corian's value Bisque. The fellow who came out to measure the template told us (and only week before heading to Milwaukee for Kelly's defense) that we'd have a lot of work to level, reinforce, and generally prepare the cabinets lest the Corian break once we put in the cast iron sink. Happily, we did well enough. The installation crew commended our novice efforts and heaved the new sink into place.

The Kohler sink is a beauty (thanks cousin). And plumber Ted is a fine plumber. We just need to rehang the doors and we're done.
